Woman in Snow - Interlaken, Switzerland

On the first day of a ski trip in Interlaken, Switzerland it was snowing too hard to go up the mountain to ski so I walked around town early in the morning.

When I saw this scene I wanted to photograph it so I stood patiently waiting for the woman to get out of my picture as I don't photograph people.

While waiting, a thought passed through my head that others would take the photograph with her in it and I could always shoot again when she was gone.

So I clicked the shutter and this was the last photograph on my roll of film and it was the last roll of film in my pocket.

I am forever grateful to this beautiful woman for being in my image.  It has won many awards.
