DESCRIPTION

With this spell, you encapsulate a willing subject in a silky cocoon.

While within the chrysalis, the subject does not need to eat or drink and heals as if he is receiving a full day's rest each hour. Unfortunately while healing, the subject is considered helpless and can do nothing while inside the chrysalis. If awakened, the subject can break free of the chrysalis as a full-round action, which provokes an attack of opportunity. The spell ends when the subject is fully healed or when the duration expires.

The subject inside the chrysalis retains rudimentary awareness of his environment, and can make Perception checks with a –5 penalty to detect movement and sound outside the chrysalis.

The chrysalis has 1 hit point. If it is destroyed, the spell ends and the subject is stunned for 1 round.
