DESCRIPTION

This spell functions as symbol of death, except all creatures within 60 feet of a symbol of blinding are permanently blinded (as blindness/deafness). Unlike symbol of death, symbol of blinding has no hit point limit; once it is triggered, a symbol of blinding remains active for 1 minute per caster level.

Symbol of blinding can be made permanent with a permanency spell by a caster of 11th level or higher for the cost of 10,000 gp.
