Any time the functions of the ring are used there is a 30% base chance of the wearer being the target of a meteor as per the meteor swarm spell. The meteor has a +10 bonus to its touch attack and all individuals within 40 feet of the wearer suffer 2d6 points of damage unless they make a DC 21 Reflex save for half damage.
