By casting this spell, you create an invisible, spherical bubble of gravitational force that bends and redirects the trajectory of any missile weapons passing through it straight toward the target. This includes arrows, darts, shuriken and any other standard medium-sized projectile weapons. Missile weapons such as these are simply redirected away from their intended targets and toward the new target.

Magical projectiles of greater than +1 enchantment are unaffected as are missile weapons carrying instant death effects such as arrows of slaying. The effect also redirects acid arrows and similar missile-type spells with the exception of magic missile which is resistant to arrow bubble by its very nature. Large projectile weapons such as those from siege engines or rock hurling giants are also unaffected. Projectiles launched by the target creature itself are affected as are missile weapons launched by allies standing inside the sphere's radius.
