New Crafts

Craft: Cookery (Int)

You are skilled in advanced culinary arts and can make a living as a master chef. While anyone can cook, you have knowledge that allows you to prepare meals and banquets worthy of kings. You also have the ability to successfully command and coordinate kitchen staff in performing tasks related to meal preparation if necessary.

You must have the necessary preparatory space, raw materials such as meat and vegetables, and ample spices as well as time to focus. A successful skill check means that you've prepared or coordinated a meal fit for a noble table, while a failed check indicates any result from an ordinary meal to a complete culinary disaster and wasting of raw materials.

Craft: Gemstones (Int)

You know how to cut and finish rough gems into the fine stones used in jewelry.

You must have good lighting, a small work space, fine chisels, hammers, specially-hardened blades, magnifiers and time to concentrate while working with gems.

A successful skill check indicates that you've increased the natural value of a rough stone and created an intrinsic work of art, while a failed check indicates any result from no increase in value to the complete ruination of the stone.

Craft: Knitting (Int)

You know how to work with yarn and wool to produce finished knitted or crocheted clothing and household goods.

A successful skill check indicates that you've made an ascetically pleasing and functional woven item, while a failed check indicates any result from a flawed item to the complete ruination of the raw materials used to make the object.

Craft: Posionmaking (Int)

You are skilled in making poisons from various poisonous plant, animal or monster compounds.

You must collect or acquire the raw materials for making a poison. See the individual poison description in the equipment list for the DC to create a specific poison.

A successful skill check indicates that you've created the poison successfully, while a failed check indicates any result from a less effective poison to the complete ruination of the materials used to make it and a concoction that has no effect.

Note: Prerequisite for the D&D Poison Master and D&D Poison Expert feats.

Craft: Sewing (Int)

You know how to work with cloth and thread to produce sewn and embroidered clothing and household goods.

A successful skill check indicates that you've made an ascetically pleasing and functional item, while a failed check indicates any result from a flawed item to the complete ruination of the raw materials used to make the object.

Craft: Taxidermy (Int)

You are skilled in the art of mounting or reproducing dead animals or monsters for display.

You must of course have preparatory space, specific tools, materials for working with bone and hide, various chemical preservatives, as well as a dead specimen.

A successful skill check indicates the incredibly life-like preservation of the creature, while a failed skill check indicates any result from the creation of an unconvincing stuffed animal to the complete ruination of the specimen and wasting of raw materials.

Note: Prerequisite for the D&D Trophy Collector feat.
