Before Combat If he has adequate time to prepare, a shaitan priest will go into battle with stoneskin, freedom of movement, magic vestment, wrathful mantle, bear's endurance (from a potion), bull's strength, weapon of awe, shield of faith, and divine power active, making him a formidable opponent, as shown in the right-hand column. If surprised by opponents he cannot defeat easily, a shaitan priest will use quickened glitterdust to confuse his enemies, then meld into stone to take cover while he casts stoneskin and divine power. During Combat The shaitan priest casts quickened glitterdust on the first round of combat, focuses on making full attacks against opponents, taking full advantage of Channel Smite and Power Attack, and attempting to trap foes within walls using Bull Rush Strike and his stone curse ability. If at least two opponents are trapped within the same volume, he will use transmute rock to mud to slay them instantly. If he can catch other foes in the resulting mud, he will trap them using transmute mud to rock on the following round.
