You can increase the power of your spells, making them more effective. Benefit: A boosted spell increases the effectiveness of any spell with a variable effect whose results are calculated by rolling dice (not counting saving throws or spell resistance checks). The spell uses a die type one level higher. Thus any effects using d3s become d4s, d4s become d6s, d6s become d8s, d8s become d10s, and d10s become d12s. Note that this progression is different than the way damage die type increases based on size, in that a die is never converted to two dice. Boosting has no effect on a spell whose effects are already determined with d12s. Level Increase: +1 (a boosted spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell’s actual level.) |
