Gold knights are an order devoted to helping individuals and communities cope with atrocities, disease, ailments, and other issues. The gold knights are excellent battlefield medics and warriors in their own right. Protection Domain: A gold knight receives only one domain, which must be Protection. He does not gain a second domain. Virtue of Gold (Su)At 1st level, whenever the gold knight heals a creature by channeling positive energy or casting a conjuration (healing) spell, he may also grant the target a +1 sacred bonus to AC for 1 round. At 7th level, and every six levels thereafter, this bonus increases by +1 (to a maximum of +4 at 19th level). Mercy (Su)At 3rd level, and again every five levels thereafter, a gold knight selects one mercy from the list of paladin mercies, treating his cleric level as his paladin level for this purpose. Whenever the gold knight channels positive energy to heal damage, he may also apply all of his mercies to each affected creature. |
