Sea Serpent, Brine

This serpentine creature is about 20 feet long, nose to tail, with two sets of large flippers and a wide body. A finned crest runs the length of its back, head to tail. The body is dark blue with a lighter underbelly, often tinged with rust or green highlights.

Once per hour, a brine sea serpent can release a blast of acid and salt water in a 50-foot cone. Creatures in the area take 10d8 points of acid damage. A successful DC 24 Reflex save reduces the damage by half. The save DC is Constitution-based, and includes a +2 bonus from the Ability Focus feat.

Bite--injury; save Fort DC 22; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d6 Str; cure 2 consecutive saves. The save DC is Constitution-based.
