This 3 day workshop with Alain Picard is suitable for oil and pastel mediums.

The schedule each day begins at 9:30 am with a demonstration.

Day 1 - the Painterly landscape

Day 2 - The Painterly Portrait

Day 3 - The Plein Air Landscape (weather permitting)

Alain J. Picard is an award-winning artist, instructor, author and speaker. His

acclaimed pastel and oil paintings have been exhibited throughout the U.S.,

Europe, China and the U.K. Alain travels internationally as an art instructor,

demonstrator, speaker and artistic advocate for the vulnerable.

David Lee: 2 day Watercolor Workshop

Thursday, October 3 and Friday, October 4

9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Join award winning watercolor master David Lee for two days of watercolor immersion.

David will share his methods of seeing and interpreting this vision onto paper. He will

share tips to help you paint faster. Learn how to keep your paintings fresh and how to

manage figures. Plan for some plein air painting if the weather permits. There will be

one hour demonstrations each morning and afternoon followed by plenty of time for

students to work on their paintings. David will visit each of you at your station for ample

one on one time to have your problems and questions answered.

In the tradition - Landscape Paintings by Joseph Skrapits

May 23 to June 29

Allentown artist Joseph Skrapits studied the landscape painting methods of the French Impressionists

and used Lehigh Valley subjects as a laboratory to understand how to capture atmosphere, perspective, and

color harmony. This solo exhibition celebrates the enduring power of landscape painting to stimulate and

refresh the creative imagination. Opening Reception June 1, 12 noon to 3:00 pm

Painting Social - Arrange a private painting event. Now booking May - June. Group size 5 to 15 guests.

Art materials, painting instructions, snacks and fun included.
