Of Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. 2nd St., Emmaus, PA (Cherokee and 2nd Street)
Six week term beginning Thursday, February 20, 27, March 5, 12, 19, and April 5, 1 to 4 p.m. Format will be, share paintings first half hour, lesson or tips in second half hour and then paint till 4 p.m. Still life set-up will be provided but you may also bring your own photo studies or whatever you are interested in.

Pastel Journey with Jacqueline Meyerson, PSA-MP, IAPS-MC

Suitable for all levels, beginner through advanced
Jacqueline Meyerson has achieved notable recognition for her work, as evidenced by her designations in these organizations, Pastel Society of American-Master Pastelist and the International Association of Pastel Societies - Master Circle status. She is also a member of the International Guild of Realism and a member of the Salmugundi Club in New York. Her awards are numerous and she is sought after as an instructor.
This 3 Day workshop will start with an evening session on Friday 4/24 from 6 to 9 pm with a demonstration painting by Ms. Meyerson, and an introduction to the world of pastels. This evening is suitable for both beginners and advanced students who want to learn about Jackie's tips and advice on pastels, supplies, techniques and framing.
Saturday and Sunday sessions will run from 10 am to 4 pm with lunch provided. Beginner students will learn how to paint a red rose from a photograph that is provided. All students will begin their journey with exploring the application of pastels, recognition of values, color and edges and their impact on your work. Advanced students will work from a still life set-up or their own photographic references. Discussion will center on layout, editing, and preparation. Your pastel journey will begin and also focus on application, recognition of values, color and edges.
