Atoms, Ions, Isotopes
Ions - An ion is an atom or molecule in which the total number of electrons is not equal to the total number of protons, giving the atom a net positive or negative electrical charge.
Isotopes - Atoms of the same element always have the same number of protons, but can have different numbers of neutrons.
These different forms of the same element are called isotopes.

- Each student is assigned a separate page number, or series of page numbers.
- Drag the symbols for protons, neutrons and electrons onto your sheets to construct atoms, isotopes and ions.
