I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Information System Lab (ISL), at the Computer, Electrical, and Mathematical Sciences and Engineering Division (CEMSE), King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I received my PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in January 2018 from the American Univeristy of Beirut (AUB) under the supervision of Prof. Zaher Dawy. Prior to that, I received my M.Sc. degree in Information and Communications System Technologies and my M.E. degree in Communications and Computer Engineering in 2013 from the Lebanese University.

From September 2018 to December 2020, I was a lecturer at the Lebanese International Univeristy (LIU), and a part time research associate in the Wireless Communications group at AUB, Lebanon.

From May 2018 to August 2018, I was a visiting researcher in the Communication Theory Lab (CTL), at KAUST. From January 2016 to June 2016, I was a visiting researcher in the Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG) of the University of Texas at Austin, USA, working with Prof. Jeffrey Andrews on modeling large cellular networks using stochastic geometry tools with application to Internet of Things (IoT) energy efficient solutions.

Honors and Awards:

  • CNRS-PhD program award from the National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS), Lebanon, 2014.

  • Best final year project award in the competition of final year projects organized by the Order of Engineers and Architects (OEA) in Lebanon, 2013.
