Research Assistance Now Available

The Northfield Historical Society is offering a new program for members of the community.  The Paine Museum’s new Research Room will be open by appointment on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 1-3 pm.  We will help you search for items in our collection and assist in researching your own family through our Ancestry.com web site.  We have bound copies of the Northfield News going back to the beginning of its publication. Call for an appointment: 485-4792.  Please leave your name and phone number on the answering machine and we will get back to you.

Would you like to make a donation? Do you have a question for the Society? Want to make a comment or send an anecdote or recollection of growing up or living in Northfield? Need to correct or comment on a story in the Dog River Crier, our newsletter? Just want to say Hi?

You may contact us by whatever means works best for you! We can be reached by "snail" mail, telephone, and email.

Please be aware that we are an all-volunteer organization with limited hours and staffing. If you send a research request, we will try respond within a week of receiving your request.
