Membership

Membership.

Membership is not just limited to people who live within our area or who are researching ancestors who came from this area.  We welcome anyone with an interest in family history who wishes to have an association with us.  We even have a UK resident as a member.

Visitors.

We also welcome visitors and are happy to give them any assistance required.

Membership:  Please click on the latest membership form at the bottom of this page or contact the Secretary at rdfhg2012@gmail.com

On joining, each new member is supplied with an index of all books and other reference material held in the Library, and a copy of our Constitution and our By-laws.

There is a lending system in place for members, in respect of Books and Newsletters.

General Meetings are held in the Scouts Den on the second Thursday of each month, commencing at 11.00 am.  At these meetings, members come together to report on past monthly activities and plan future actions.

It is our policy to welcome (and indeed encourage) all members to attend these meetings and discuss any ideas that have been generated by our membership.

The Group's Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Thursday 15th August 2019.
