I hold a PhD in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am a Qualified Supervisor and I work for CounselingExam.com, a website specifically geared towards preparing for the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE). My individualized tutoring services and NCMHCE Webinars are provided exclusively online.
During my doctoral course work, I concentrated on Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in Instructional Technology. My dissertation examined the ways in which test anxiety relates to the NCMHCE. My current research interests include counselor identity, test anxiety, information processing deficits, cognitive restructuring, academic performance, and professional licensure.
Ultimately, I hope to contribute to improving the quality of mental health care by way of providing comprehensive learning experiences to future counselors through the use of technological tools that facilitate learning opportunities for students and interns.
