Igor Kornilov, a non-conventional Chapman stick player and guitarist. He also experiments with such ethnic string instruments as Erhu, an ancient Chinese 2-string violin. Living in Russia, Igor participated in a few musical projects as a guitar player and toured across the Soviet Union from West to East and North to South and in some European countries. Since 1983, Igor has been building guitars, basses and many-string exotic instruments. The company "KornilGuitars" has developed its own unique technologies, custom workshop tools and especial wood processing that made many professional guitarists around the world prefer Kornil Guitars™ instruments to factory-made ones. Kornil Guitars™ instruments have been displayed in international musical instruments exhibitions and received high appraisals and recognition of both musicians and critique. He made Canada his home, and in 2007 was awarded Winnipeg Arts Council's and Manitoba Arts Council's Grants for his art (
