Congress courses now confirmed

Twenty-one pre- and post-congress courses have now been confirmed covering the breadth of the profession. With topics ranging from chronic pain to health promotion and club foot, these courses offer the delegate the chance to explore issues in depth; meet with experts and colleagues in their particular field; and discover the latest implications for practice.

See the full list of courses and access speaker biographies at:bit.ly/1pI7CW9.

Congress courses are an optional element that are open to delegates who register to attend at least one day of the main congress and they carry a separate fee. They will be available to book via the online congress registration system opening in July 2014.

Call for abstract reviewers

WCPT is looking for physical therapists with relevant research and reviewing expertise who can offer their services to review platform and poster abstracts submitted for presentation at congress. If you are interested please complete the online questionnaire at svy.mk/1hvagfJ by 31st July 2014

The number of abstracts sent to reviewers will depend on their area of expertise and the number of submissions received. However, it is anticipated that reviewers will receive no more than 30.

The review process will begin on 10th November 2014 and all reviews must be completed by 1st December 2014.
Call for abstracts
Do you want to present at the world's largest international gathering of physical therapists? The call for abstracts for WCPT Congress 2015 is now open, with the deadline for submissions 31st October 2014.

Abstract presentations are the main way of showcasing your research and innovations. There were nearly 2,500 platform and poster presentations at the last WCPT Congress in 2011 in Amsterdam. Find out more at: bit.ly/1arNbRY.

Increase your chances of success and read our guidelines on writing an abstract before submitting: bit.ly/1nDSJ7k.

Abstract mentoring programme

If you have limited or no experience of submitting an abstract for a scientific congress, WCPT's abstract mentoring programme is available until 12th September 2014. With just three months left before this programme ends, WCPT is urging presenters to make use of the service as soon as possible.

The goal of the programme is to help authors present their material clearly and concisely prior to submitting their abstract to the formal abstract review process. For further details please see:bit.ly/1hBrX8h
Sponsor and exhibit at congress
With the exhibition and sponsorship prospectus launched just a few weeks ago, key sponsorship opportunities and exhibition stands have already been taken. To make sure your company isn't left behind, take part in the world's largest international physical therapy congress and join us at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in May 2015.

For more information contact exhibition@wcpt.org or download the prospectus at: bit.ly/1m5WK3U.
