Setting the Class Loose Without Loosing Control

EARCOS Teacher Proposal Presentation
Chatsworth International School, Singapore
October 1, 2014

Student voice is a powerful way of developing engagement within the classroom. In doing so, the teacher must be willing to give up control of traditional ways of teaching in order to build a community  that students have ownership of. In this workshop, we will explore why and how letting go of the  control as the teacher works, real classroom examples where students have led the learning and the challenges of doing this.
