Welcome to my academic website. I'm a Senior Policy Advisor in the Financial Stability Department at the Bank of Canada. Prior to that, I spent a decade working in the UK, mostly at the Bank of England, where I worked in Monetary Analysis, Financial Stability, and Economic Research Directorates-- where I am currently also an academic visitor. I have a PhD in Economics from University College London (UCL). I also hold an MPhil from UCL, and an MA from McGill University. Prior to completing my PhD, I spent time as a researcher at Yale University.

My research is primarily focused on households' debt and savings decisions using empirical microeconomic techniques. I am interested in understanding households mortgage choice, as well as uncovering the mechanisms by which indebted households adjust their consumption in response to an economic shock.

I'm a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics and the Central Bank Research Association
