Mathew YH Wong 黃以恒

Welcome! I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Social Sciences, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I obtained my PhD in Government at the University of Essex. 

My research interests lie in the following areas:

-Comparative Politics and Comparative Political Economy

-Income Inequality and Redistribution

-Social Policy (Labor and Welfare etc.)

-Democracy and Democratization

-Asian Politics (Hong Kong/Macao, China's Rising Influence)
