MANN MOVING MOUNTAINS The second grade classrooms are working hard on a service learning project for our Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Jim Detwiler "Dr.D." will be raising awareness this Fall when he climbs Mt. Everest (Kalapathar Summit = about 3.5 miles). He has inspired the 2nd Grade Team to join him in his efforts to raise awareness and to help raise money to find a cure for Multiple Myeloma. Our goal is to join Dr. Detwiler in this learning adventure! We will be researching ways we can help make a difference, learn about his climb, and we also hope to help raise funds by organizing & participating in a 5k! Please continue to check back to this page for more details and information regarding our service learning project!
