Welcome to Love After Adversity Dog Rescue and
Rehabilitation! I am glad you have found your way here to a place totally
devoted to dogs!
Whether you are looking for an adoptable dog or have a dog
but need some help with an unwanted behaviour, you have come to the right
place. For me, the key to a happy life (either dog or human) is balance,
exercise and good food. I expect forever families to provide this for the dogs
they adopt and have had success rehabilitating dogs with all sorts of interesting
behaviours using this philosophy.
If
you visit the site semi-regularly, you'll have noticed that it's had
periods of sporadic updating over the past few months. While I'm not
planning to stop rescuing dogs in need, I've temporarily slowed down for
a season, even taking the occasional break, in order to make sure that I
can continue to rescue over the long-term.
Thanks for considering adopting a rescued dog, and I look
forward to working with you!

Not in Vain by Emily Dickinson
If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain.
