Planning Application - Land East Of Normandy Terrace

Background

On March 15th 2013 NCC gave outline approval for a development of up to 12 dwellings on Land East Of Normandy Terrace.
That was a decision on the general principles of how the site can be developed.
The proposed site layout in 12/03472/OUT showed 12 houses.

On July 7th 2016 NCC approved the application for the approval of reserved matters for access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale.

The site layout in 16/00626/REM showed 9 houses.

The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) defines the site as being permitted, suitable, available, achievable with potential for 12 dwellings.
It is included in the Longhorsley Neighbourhood Plan and the Northumberland Local Plan as a site allocated for development.
The 2016 approval has lapsed and the site is no longer shown in the Northumberland Local Plan as permitted.
