Goal Setting

Please submit goals on actual 8.5 x 11 paper either printed or in legible handwriting. There should be 2 personal goals and 1 suggested team goal.

Goals should be:

S:    Specific - I want to have a higher passing percentage vs. I want to play better.
M:  Measurable - I want to drop 3 seconds on my 10x100 split vs. I want to swim faster.
A: Achievable - I want to score 15 goals a game vs. I want to have 5 goals or assists a game
R: Relevant (productive) - I want to have 5 goals/assists/be part of a successful offensive possessions vs. I want to score more goals.
T: Timely - I want to have made 5 assists by the 4th game of the season vs. I want to make more assists.

Please make sure your goals meet all of these requirements and are clearly laid out in how you will measure and work to accomplish them.


For those wondering what stats are kept, a sample stats sheet is below. We keep track of goals, attempts, turnovers (lost possessions), 6-5 results, steals, shot blocks, exclusions and exclusions earned (when you get an opponent excluded).
