About us:

Leisure Craft Camp is organized annually by a board of directors. The Leisure Craft Camp Board of Directors traditionally meets at the close of camp, and on the first Saturday of November, March, and June at 10:00 am. Board Members are not paid and do not receive a discount on camp registration fees. Four board members are replaced each year after serving 3 years. To be eligible to serve on the board, one must have attended two overnight camps.

Basic information about Leisure Craft Camp:

Leisure Craft Camp offers participants the opportunity to experience and develop a variety of programs for their own leisure or for group activities. The camp's objective is to organize and host an annual educational craft retreat. ONLY THOSE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER MAY ATTEND. Registrations will be accepted after the June meeting of the Board of Directors. The camp started in 1976 as a joint venture between Extension Homemakers and the Tennessee Valley Authority which was charged with management of what is now the Land Between the Lakes National Park.

Leisure Craft Camp meets at Brandon Springs Group Camp. This is a modern facility with 12 people to a large dormitory-style housing.
