What Does A Typical Competition Cheer Season Look Like?
Early August (Mon-Thurs) Competition Team Workshops - Cheerleaders learn tryout material during workshop days and will be judged on all material at the end of the week. While attending workshops, please do not wear any t-shirts, shorts, etc. that indicate that you have been a cheerleader for Leigh or any other school/organization.
Early August (Fri) Competition Team Tryouts - Please note: tryouts are closed. Please do not wear any attire that indicates that you have been a cheerleader for Leigh or any other school/organization.
August Uniform Fittings - Fittings will take place in assigned shifts from highest grade level to lowest.
End of August Athlete & Parent Meeting - At least 1 parent/guardian must be present for each cheerleader on the team. We will discuss our expectations for the team, calendar for the year, fundraising and hand out cost sheets.

Early November (Sat) Clovis North Regional Competition in Fresno
Mid November (Sat) Vista Del Lago Regional Competition in Folsom
Early December (Sat) CCS Regional Competition at Branham High School
Early-Mid December (Sat) James Logan Regional Competition in Union City
Early January (Sat) Deer Valley Regional Competition in Antioch
Mid January (Sat) CCS Competition/Championship in San Jose
Mid March USA Nationals in Anaheim
Thursday - Travel Day and Team Dinner in Anaheim
Friday - Competition Day: Show Cheer Prelims
Saturday - Competition Day: Show Cheer Finals and Game Day Division
Sunday - Disney Day & College Cheer Expo / Junior Nationals
Monday - Travel Day
