Notice Board

Please note that our calendar for 2021 has been set for our events which we hope will take place next year but these may have change due to the current situation and uncertainty. The committee are working to bring together further events next year to try and make up for the lost rallies this year, watch this space for further details when it happens.

Our monthly meetings have still cancelled until further notice and please follow this notice board or our Facebook page for up to date information.  We are following Government and Local Government recommendations and we will try our best to keep you informed and advise you all as soon as we can. Please keep safe.

We also learnt of the sad news of the passing of Dave Poole who with Dot did a lot for the club in the past
years. Our love and condolences go out to Dot in these difficult times.
We also learnt of the passing of Steve Driver a newer member to the club and our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends.

The club has made two charity donations this year  going to Bolton NICE food bank/community kitchen and the Salvation Army both worthwhile local charities.

And from last year, thank you to Margaret and Sally for presenting the Ralph Jagger Memorial Plate to Neil Taylor at The Island 2019. Again we had a good turn out despite the chilly conditions and thank you everyone who attended.

A big thank you to every one who came to Astley Park, we had over 180 vehicles of every age attending, great cars, great people, great day.

Thank you also to Ken Wilson for presenting the Astley Cup, in memory of Dorothy Wilson,  Ken is seen here presenting the cup to the owner of his choice of vehicle on the day, which was a 1967 Ford Anglia Super belonging to Pauline Neilan.  Well done Pauline.

Also at Astley was the clubs oldest member,  Jack Tailor of 92 years, above on the left, with his lovely 1976 Corvette C3 Stingray, also seen here with his partner in crime, Morgan Fielding with his 1974 Corvette C3 Stingray.  So driving a corvette makes you live longer, enough said, carry on lads see you at our next show.
