BIO: Koteswar is currently serving as a faculty member of SPCOM group in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur (IITK), India. Before joining IITK, he was with IIIT-Delhi (IIITD), India. He earned his PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and BTech degree from IIT Roorkee (IITR), India. He is primarily a Computer Vision researcher and has published his works in A* conferences such as CVPR, ICCV & ECCV and in IEEE Transactions like TIP, TMM & TCSVT. Â

OPENINGS: VIMS Lab (my team) is currently looking for PhD, Masters & BTech students who are interested in Computer Vision (CV) & Machine Learning (ML) research. Few research internship positions are also available. Interested students may send their CVs to vims.iitk@gmail.com for consideration. Students with solid coding skills, good communication skills, and a decent knowledge of CV & ML (gained via courses or self-study) will be preferred. If selected, you will be expected to take ownership and work for at least a year.
