Creative Industries Roadshow - Kyogle Pop up

MEMORIAL INSTITUTE, KYOGLE, NSW

In November, 2014, Jenny was invited by Arts Northern Rivers to exhibit in a pop-up exhibition
in her hometown of Kyogle. Along with nine other local artists, a diverse range of works were
exhibited, including indigenous basket making, ceramics and prints.

'The Theatre of Insects'

PORT JACKSON PRESS PRINT GALLERY

Jenny has secured representation at Port Jackson Press Print Gallery in Collingwood, Melbourne. She will have a selection of 15 paper cut-out insects, titled 'The Theatre of Insects' featured in the LWOO (Little Window Of Opportunity) at Port Jackson Press Gallery from 3-17 October 2014. A selection of her prints will also be exhibited as part of a group show titled 'From Nature' at PJP, from 1-31 October 2014.

'The Mark of the Collector'

Two of Jenny's prints 'Composition in red, yellow & blue' and 'Mark of the Collector' were selected for inclusion in the recent Inkmasters Exhibition in Cairns, QLD.

'Wise Up'

Jenny was invited to participate in 'Beastarium', an exchange portfolio of prints of various animals and beasts which was curated by Rona Green. The 39 prints will be exhibited at Dubbo Regional Gallery from 19 September to 22 November in 2015.

Jenny’s ninth solo show, Array, will be opened by Steven Giese at 6pm on 24 January at the Tweed Regional Gallery, Murwillumbah, NSW. This colourful exhibition features images of insects, especially the pollinators which include bees, beetles and butterflies. Linocuts, screen prints, monotypes, ceramic plates and mixed media works will be on display. The show seeks to acknowledge the inherent beauty and intelligence of insects and their ongoing importance to our food supply.
