I often feature insects in my work. I identify with them and feel that they have a lot to teach us. During the course of their lives they go through quite obvious changes in the form of metamorphosis. I often use this idea of change as a metaphor in my prints.

The imagery I use in my work is often complex and detailed with many fragmented images juxtaposed together. Over the years I have developed a personal iconography of metaphors and symbols which combine with the more figurative elements of the natural world.

These elements are woven together in order to create and relate my own personal stories which are then interwoven with the more universal concepts of time, the cycles of life and respect for the intricate workings of nature.
