REMEMBER TO Open a gradebook on a server!

REMEMBER TO SAVE TO SERVER!

  1. Start program

    • Click Start

    • Click Applications

    • Select InteGrade Pro

    • Click MS or HS Integrade pro

  1. Change password

    • Click Setup

    • Click Password

    • Follow prompts

  1. Sort student names in each class:

    • Choose class in Class viewer

    • Right click

    • Click Sort Students

    • Check By Student Name

    • Click Sort

    • Click Close

    • DO THIS FOR EVERY CLASS IN CLASS VIEWER

4. Inactive students

· Click Setup on gray toolbar

· Click Display

· Click Spreadsheet tab

- Teachers should not add or delete students from their gradebook.

- Guidance will make the changes to SASI and the changes will be exported to IGPro.

- Inactive students will have a strikethrough.

· CLOSE BOX

5. Setup Grading Rules

· Click Setup on gray toolbar

· Click Grading Rules

· Click Type Sets

- Sets – A set or column for each different course you teach.

- Task Types – Different types of tasks you will give.

· Click a box in the first COLUMN and click Rename Set

· Name the Set for the first course you teach

· Add any additional Sets for each course you teach or rename the those given

· Click New Type if you need to add a task type

· Click Rename Type to rename a type already given

· PERCENTAGE vs. TOTAL POINTS

- Fill in 0 points if you use a point system

- Fill in numbers if you are weighted

  1. Setup Special Scores

· Click Special Scores

· Click New to add a special score then CLOSE BOX

- EXAMPLES: ABS = Excused, MSNG = 0

- Score value must be either a percentage or “Excused”

- Enter “Excused” to allow a task to be omitted without a penalty

· CLOSE BOX

  1. Associate Classes With Correct Class Type Set

· Click Setup on gray toolbar

· Click Classes

· Click on the first class name

· Click the drop down arrow to associate class with the correct Task Type Set

· Do this for each class

· CLOSE BOX

  1. Create Quarter 1, 2, 3, & 4 Spreadsheets For Each Class

· Click Setup on gray toolbar

· Click Spreadsheets

· Choose a class from drop down menu

· Click New

· Select Create a Numeric Spreadsheet and click Next

· In the Spreadsheet Name field type “Quarter 1” and click Next

· Select which type of Numeric spreadsheet to create: “Weighted Type” or “Total Points” and click Create

· Click Edit Date Range

· Enter “Start Date” and “End Date” for the quarter

· Click OK

· Continue with next class

· You must do this for each of your classes

· To move spreadsheets in the viewer, hold “Control” key while using mouse to move the spreedsheet.

· CLOSE BOX

  1. View Classes in Correct Spreadsheet

· In the Class view, select your first class

· In the Spreadsheet view, select Quarter 1 (……)

· You must do this for each of your classes

  1. Create a Task

· In the Class view, select class you will work with first

· Make sure you are in Spreadsheet Quarter 1

· Click Tasks on gray toolbar

· Click New Tasks

· Enter Task Name (they must be unique)

· Enter Date Assigned and Due Date

· Associate correct task Type

· Enter total amount of points in Out of (Raw)

- Doesn’t include bonus points

· Edit Scale Factor

- Enter 1 if you are weighted. If you are total points, you decide

how many times that task will count

  1. Copy a Task

· Make sure you are sitting in the class you would like to copy into (the target)

· Choose that class in the Class viewer

· Make sure you are in Spreadsheet Quarter 1

· Click Task on the gray toolbar

· Click Copy Task

· Choose the Class you want to copy from

· Choose the Spreadsheet you want to copy from (Quarter 1)

· Choose the Task(s) you want to copy and click Next

· Choose Raw Score and then Next

· Click OK

12. Edit a Task

· Click Task on the gray toolbar

· Click Edit Tasks

· Select appropriate tab to correct or edit information

· If you do NOT want to send tasks and grades to Edline for parents and students to view, you must uncheck Allow export to Integrade Pro Link under the General tab

· DO THIS EACH TIME YOU CREATE A NEW TASK SO IT WILL NOT APPEAR IN EDLINE!

· IF YOUR SPREADSHEET GRADE DOES NOT COME OUT AS YOU EXPECTED, CHECK HERE!

- You probably associated the task with an incorrect task type, or have a different scale factor that you thought

- IGPro calculates correctly. It calculates on the information you give.

13. Enter Scores

· Enter scores under each Task by clicking the cell

· Type the numeric score or special score

· DO NOT FORGET TO SAVE TO SERVER!

· To enter the same score for many students or all students right click on a cell

· Select Fill Column

· Enter score
