Returning Users: Setting up IGPro

After you create a new gradebook at the beginning of the school year, you MUST:

  • Setup Grading rules, type sets tab (refer to your instruction manual)

  • NOTE: If you need to look back at last year’s gradebook, you must turn off the automatic update (Edit/Preferences/uncheck the Update Gradebooks Automatically box). If you forget, IGPro will add your new classes into your old gradebook. After you close your old gradebook, don’t forget to turn the automatic update feature back on.

  • Setup Classes, associate each class with the correct task type set

You can IMPORT your Spreadsheets/Tasks from LAST year into this year’s gradebook:

  • Select Tasks from the main menu bar

  • Select Import

  • Save gradebook

  • Click Next

  • Select your previous year’s gradebook

  • Open

  • OK

  • Select Spreadsheets

  • Next

  • FROM – select the class from last year to import from

  • ALL to select all spreadsheets displayed

  • TO CLASS: select this year’s class into which you will import

  • Click Import button

NOTE: If last year’s tasks have due dates, this information will also be copied and you must edit the dates in your new gradebook.

If you do not want to copy Spreadsheets from last year, or need to add spreadsheets for a new class, you must create them on your own by choosing Setup, Spreadsheets. To add tasks, go to Tasks, New Tasks.
