On 19th April the last project seminar will be arranged in Sokos Olympia Garden.

20.03.2013: Last Project JMG meeting in Finland.

12-15.02.2013: The 3rd Students' school

The 3rd Students' school was conducted in St. Petersburg on 12-15 February 2013. 7 students from LUT, 10 students from SPSPU and 11 students from St. Petersburg State University participated in the school. All students have acquainted with e-services, e-government services, social services and open data.

16.01.2013 Preliminary version of Web-system for Russian-Finish cross-border communication is issued!

The system is available here http://109.124.104.91:8072/ the system is supported Russian and English languages, and addresses to Finnish travelers in Russia and Russian travelers in Finland. The system provides following information for Russian travelers: Crossing Finish border, To Finland by car, Sight seeing and shopping, Nature laws in Finland (include Fishing rules), Education in Finland. For Finish travelers the following topics are supported: Crossing Russian Border, To Russia by car, Sight seeing and Shopping, Emergency situations, Education in Russia.


Software engineering course based on Project results was conducted in St. Petersburg State University

Software engineering course for BA students of SPbSU was conducted in 2012 (from February 14 - May 25). The course was based on project results. Students have developed the following e-services: education in Finland, to Finland by car, PhD defense, fishing in Finland, crossing Fin/Rus border.

Announcement! The 3rd Student school and Conference, Saint-Petersburg, Russia

12-15.02.2012: the 3rd Student School and Conference in St. Petersburg.

On 12th February the 3rd Student school takes place in St. Petersburg. Students from St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University and Lappeenranta University of Technology will be acquainted with visual modeling, including traditional software modeling, knowledge management and business modeling (for example canvas method, mind map etc).

E-services and open data will be the main problem areas of the 3rd Student School and Conference.

 

10.12. 2012: Joint Management Group meeting in St. Petersburg

JMG meeting was arranged in St. Petersburg on 10 December 2012. Project Partners have discussed completed and ongoing activities, project web-site update and development, planned activities regarding web-system development, hosting and testing, preparation of winter school in 2013 year, preparation of the 3rd conference on visualization of social services, financial and reporting issues.

The next JMG meting will be arranged in Lappeenranta on 20th March, 2013.

21.09.2012: Project Partners met in Lappeenranta

September 19, 2012: Project Partners met in Lappeenranta. Project partners met in Lappeenranta and discussed important issues regarding project implementation: next winter school organizational questions, administrative and financial issues (including reporting and tendering procedures), e-services development process.

The next JMG meeting will be arranged in St. Petersburg on December 10, 2012.

18-21.09.2012. The 2nd Summer Students’ School.

The School was organized in Lappeenranta, Finland. Students were listening the lectures, participating in group projects, relaxing and communicating in Lappeenranta University of Technology. Students were divided into 5 groups for practical studying and each group had its own assignment.
