Shining balloon
The suggestion of lighting equipment floating in the air.
Shining balloon is the lighting equipment that carrying around is possible. In a Task Ambient Lighting Plan that is the thought that there should be the necessary brightness for the necessary place, we install stands lights in several places as part illumination generally, but I substitute it with 1, so it is the lifestyle that "Take it to the necessary place". The assumed retail price is around 100,000 yen (The life for around 50,000 hours, the helium gas can be supplemented.). It is the suggestion that used crash-worthiness and light weight small size and the longer life that are a characteristic of the LED to the maximum.
The concept seems to be a pet. It drifts like a balloon with helium gas relaxedly in the air. For example, I come home, I take him that led (charged) to the entrance to the living with me, or he play on a ceiling of the living at the age of a meal, or I take him to the bedroom and read a book. The article is charge type, you charge him in the daytime, and use carrying at night. When battery decreases at midnight, brightness declines slowly（It revives if charged.）. As the pet, I assume a single life or a couple as the class of users.
With the point of the design is satisfying predetermined brightness although being small and light, carrying around is easy and is usable intuitively. It consist of the part of the balloon and the part of the power supply, and the part of the balloon consists of an LED source of light and a film and helium gas, the part of the power supply consist of weight such as battery and the adapter. The balloon part secures for a soft most moving passage feeling like a paper balloon and the durability. Through touch interface of the power supply part, power supply operation, adjustment of the light, the confirmation of the power supply residual quantity are possible.
As part illumination of the Task Ambient illumination, an idea to carry lighting equipment such as the pet in a house may be some sense of incongruity in the modern life, but look back upon the past, there are the times when he carries a lantern with and move at night. Like this idea examining toward commodification, I save energy by photovoltaic power generation daytime, and scenery to carry illumination freely at night will be seen in the future.

光風船
空中に浮かぶ照明器具の提案．
光風船は，持ち運び出来る照明器具です．必要な場所に必要な明るさがあればよいという考えの「タスクアンビエント照明計画」において，通常であれば局部照明としてスタンドライト等を何箇所かに設置するところを，１灯で代用し，「必要な場所に照明を連れて行く」という生活スタイルを想定しています．想定される小売価格は，10万円程度（寿命は5万時間程度，ヘリウムガスは補充可能）． LEDの特徴である耐衝撃性，軽量小型，長寿命を最大限活用した提案です．
コンセプトはペットのような照明．ヘリウムガスで風船のようにゆったりと空中を漂います．例えば，帰宅し玄関に繋がれていた（充電されていた）照明をリビングに連れて行き，食事のときはリビングの天井で遊ばせ，また寝室に連れて行って本を読むといった具合に．商品は充電式で，昼間は充電しておき，夜は持ち運びながら使います．ペットのような存在として，夜中にバッテリーが減ると徐々に明るさが落ちてきます．（コンセントに繋げば復活します）一人暮らし，もしくはカップルをユーザー層として想定しています．
デザインのポイントは，小型軽量ながら所定の明るさを満たすことと，持ち運びが容易で直感的に使えること．バルーン部と電源部からなり，浮遊するバルーン部はLED光源と皮膜とヘリウムガスで構成され，電源部はバッテリーやアダプターのような重量が集中しています．バルーン部は紙風船のように柔かい触り心地で且つ耐久性も確保している．電源部のタッチインターフェースを介し，電源操作，調光，電源残量の確認が出来ます．
タスクアンビエント照明の局部照明として，ペットのような照明器具を家の中で持ち歩くというアイデアは，現代の生活では少し違和感があるかもしれませんが，過去を顧みれば，夜は提灯を携えて移動していた時代もあります．商品化に向け検討を行っているこのアイデアのように，昼の太陽光発電でエネルギーを蓄え，夜は自由に照明を持ち歩くという風景が，将来見られるかもしれません．
