Feast at the Forge

Our annual historical re-enactment dinner will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 6:30 at the Forge & Anvil Museum. The food and entertainment this year will feature 1918. The cost is $50 and tickets are selling fast. Call 519-775-2292 for tickets or more information.

Christmas Crafters Sale

Saturday, December 2 there will be a crafters sale at the Sparta Community Hall. Come out and find some unique gifts. The sale will run all day and further details will come soon.

War of 1812 and UEL Sign Unveiling

Our War of 1812 honouring of more veterans with plaques and a ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 23. We will start at the Sparta South Cemetery honouring two veterans of the War of 1812 and then move to the Seminary Cemetery where we will honour several new veterans as well as unveil the United Empire Loyalist Buring Ground sign. Re-enacters will help us with the ceremony. All are welcome to join us.To read all about the ones we already honoured visit the Forge & Anvil Museum.
