HYPOTHERMIA / My Kayak Prayer
All these versions that are available to view without payments, are the raw low quality, skipping and pixilated lined, digital transfer from the 35mm film original.
The purchased rental, or subscription versions, are the same complete animation, but in HD 1440x1080pixel resolution, from the much larger Technicolor digital transfer of the 35mm film print original.
Other than that resolution issue, any paid purchase or subscription is to show appreciation and support for further work from this animator, R. David Foster!

Lyrics
Refrain:
Down, down, down
The sun goes down
The night comes down
Laid down
As I lay down
A boy in the yard
I try hard to sleep
And try not to think
Of the other afoot
With plans of a crook
To ruin my shelter
And send helter skelter
A boy in the yard
refrain
Cycling on the highway
Turn off to the side road
Against what they all told
That there would not be a place
To which one could leave the race
And to just be
Then to lay down
refrain
A youth by the road
Doing what he said
And pausing in bed
Amidst all the snow
Hoping not to show
The late rural drivers
A character diverse
As to set out to walk
In snow white as chalk
Only to lay down
So much on the ground
A youth by the road
refrain
What's the diff'
Between Abram and Abraham
Seems to me one thicket-ed ram
Whether my talent, my wealth or my life
Isaac it, I sac' it to my wife !
