      ♪ ♫ ♫ Carol Singing ♫ ♪ ♫

“Yes it was cold and dark but clear.” “A good -sized group of cheery souls enjoyed singing the traditional carols telling the story of Jesus’ birth.” We sang by the new houses on the other side of the railway and on Old Rectory Rd and in the streets around Emmanuel ending on Wed night by being invited into the White Hart Pub. “The best part was on the following afternoon when a lady slipped a card under the door of Emmanuel to say thank you –she had listened to us from the front door.”

"A modern twist on the  Christmas story.; very relevant to our modern society."
"Fun, clear and easy to understand" "The sketches were very effective"
" It reminded me of the incredible love of God and the need each of us has to respond to Him in our heart"
" As we search for the meaning of the baby in the manger we become aware that God who created the universe comes looking for us"

“The story of Christmas was told in 3 Stages with relevant craft and activity following each part. There were real people dressed up and even a real baby. I think this made the point that this is a real story that happened to real people and not a fairy tale.”

“It was good to see the children well behaved and & enjoying games and craft together.”
"We did a sorting Christmas cards game. The children clearly knew the difference between the real Christmas story and other Christmas STUFF.”

Christmas Day
 For to us a child is born,
to us a Son is given;
 and his name will be called "Wonderful Counsellor, MIGHTY God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end.  Isaiah 9;6,7

The rule of Jesus in our hearts, lives and the world will continue to achieve His purposes for now and into eternity.
