Hawkwell Parish Church

Hawkwell Parish Church, a member of the Church of England, is a church of local people of all ages who gather together each Sunday to worship Jesus. The content of the morning services at St Mary's and Emmanuel  is the same. We also have a variety of regular Midweek events as well as occasional Special Events . Everyone and anyone is welcome to join us for any of our services or events.

St Mary's is a small 14th Century church on Rectory Rd near Clement's Hall Leisure Centre.

Emmanuel is a modern building on Main Rd opposite the White Hart Pub not far from the centre of Hockley.
Why not join us?  At our Sunday services you will find friendly people, contemporary worship, and Bible-centred teaching in an informal atmosphere. Afterwards there is opportunity for friendship and fellowship over a cuppa and a biscuit. A Church leader is always available to pray with anyone who comes with a particular concern.  Jesus is alive today. We can each know God's love, forgiveness and help in our daily life. We can  have hope for the future with a new certainty  of  eternity with Jesus. This is an important life decision - come and find out more.
