Friends of the GLF

Do you want to ensure that the voice of older people in London is heard and listened to in society and in the government? Then why not support the Greater London Forum for Older People by joining the Friends of the GLF. As a friend of the GLF, your membership gives you:
  • Access to events such as the Annual ‘Question Time at the House of Commons’ and GLF and Borough Forum events on topics such as transport, healthcare and housing or what it means to be an older person.
  • Regular copies of Senior London.
  • Opportunities to get involved in GLF campaigns and consultations to express your views on issues affecting older Londoners.
  • The chance to meet and form links with older people from other boroughs and local groups.

Here are some comments from current Friends of the GLF:

“Through Friends of the GLF we learn about different issues affecting older people and go to events we would not otherwise have known about. We have made friends from all different denominations across the whole of London.”

“I really enjoyed the acting and painting projects at the National Theatre. They really brought me out of myself and gave me so much confidence. These were things I never, everthought I would do”
