Our Ministries

Sunday Morning Prayer Group

Grace Church is committed to an active life of prayer. Members gather at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning to pray for the church, the worship service, the staff, members and the community. All are welcome to come and pray.

Sunday Morning Adult Sunday School

Class starts at 9 a.m. in the Robertson Room.

An inter-generational approach is used so the same lesson is covered as the children and youth cover in their class. The class is Bible study and discussion.

Each class is complete that week so participants may come any or all Sundays as they are available.

Teachers are members of the class. Participation is open to all interested persons.

Sunday School for Children and Youth*

We have 5 Sunday school classes:

Preschool, Elementary (K-4th), Youth (5th-8th), and High School (9th-12th). The children and youth sit with their families for the first part of Worship, and then come up to the front of the church for the Children’s Message, which is at approximately 10:30 am. They will go to their Sunday school classes after the Children’s Message. *On Communion Sundays there is no Sunday School for Children or Youth. After Children's Message, they will return to their seats and remain in Worship.

All our Sunday school classes (children, youth and 9:00 am adult), as well as our Youth Group and mid-week Kids’ JAM program, are taught the same lesson each week, adjusted to the age and ability of the group. This church-wide curriculum has given adults, youth and children the opportunity to discuss together what they have been learned during the week. It is a blessing to watch all of the children and youth learn more about God’s love for themselves and each other.

Grace Chancel Choir and Worship Team

Volunteers from the congregation gather together each Sunday to praise God through song with a weekly anthem or hymn. Worship Team helps to lead in congregational singing.

Prayer Partners

Our Prayer Partner program pairs an adult with a non-related child. During the year, each Partner prays for the other one, while getting to know more about each other. There are currently 23 Prayer Partners, with additional adults and children asking to be paired. The All-Church Carnival, as well as the Hot Chocolate and Cookies Event, are just two examples of events that give everyone the opportunity to spend time with their Prayer Partner.
