Friday, July 14th, 8:00 pm

Come to Grace Hall on Friday, July 14th, for our second Movie Night of the summer!  We’ll be watching the action-filled movie

“The Lego Batman Movie”:

“There are big changes brewing in Gotham City, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.”

Optional: bring a snack to share.

*A sign-up sheet is located in the Narthex.  Please let us know you’ll be coming, so we’ll know how much popcorn to pop!

Come enjoy some “wet & wild fun” after church on the July 30th!  We’re setting aside a little time to play in sun.  Children & youth (or those young at heart): for those that wish to participate, there will be an inflatable water slide, slip-n-slide, and wading pool.  Bring a chair to sit & watch, or grab your suit, towel & sunscreen and jump on in!

Hope to see you there! –Carol Cullen

SUNDAY, JULY 30, 2017

Although the children & youth don’t want to think about it, school will be starting for many of our Grace children and adults tomorrow, with others following soon after.  We want everyone to have a great school year, and one of the best ways to do this is to ask for God’s blessing on our efforts.  This will be done after the Children’s Message for all of Grace’s children, youth and adults that are going back to school for the 2017/2018 school year.  Children and youth are asked to come forward for the Children’s Message, with or without backpack or book bag.

Thank you! Carol Cullen

1-4 PM

Master chef, George Kelly,  is going to demonstrate how to make red
pepper jam. It will be a fun time with some special sampling.

Be amazed at all the ways you can use red pepper jam, including on ice cream!

Learn how to make jam and wow your friends!
FREE to all!

INVITE a friend!
:  Saturday, July 29th
Where:  Grace Presbyterian Church,  10 Mills Street, Grace Hall

Those of you at Grace in 6th – 12th grades have been busy this past year: serving as Worship Leaders, ushers & greeters; set up & cleanup of 4th Sunday Feast and other church functions; leaders & helpers at Kids’ JAM and so much more.  The congregation of Grace wants to tell you that YOU ARE APPRECIATED!  And to do that, we want to serve YOU!

Come to Grace Hall on Friday, August 4th at 6:00 p.m. for a sit-down, “we serve you” dinner, followed by a movie & popcorn (if you’ve still got room!).  And the best part (other than fellowship with each other) is you don’t have to do anything to set up or clean up!  Yay!

RSVP to Carol Cullen by text or email: 510-406-0090 or

Hope to see you all there on the 4th!

Outdoor Movie Night

Friday, August 25th, 8:00 p.m.

Come to Grace Hall on Friday, August 25th, for our last Movie Night of the summer!  We’ll be under the stars watching the Disney movie “Moana”:

“Moana Waialiki is a sea voyaging enthusiast and the only daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators.  When her island’s fisherman can’t catch any fish and the crops fail, she learns that the demigod Maui caused the blight by stealing the heart of the goddess, Te Fiti.  The only way to heal the island is to persuade Maui to return Te Fiti’s heart, so Moana sets off on an epic journey across the Pacific.  The film is based on stories from Polynesian mythology.”

Optional: bring a snack to share.

*A sign-up sheet is located in the Narthex.

Please let us know you’ll be coming, so we’ll know
