The group was established in 2002 with the purposes of

    • promoting appreciation, knowledge and understanding of the skill, art, technique and heritage of quilt making
    • fostering a climate of friendship and cooperation amongst quiltmakers locally, nationally and internationally
    • providing a social and educational forum for quiltmakers in and around the Glasgow area.

Membership is open to anyone who is committed to these purposes and we have members who come from Glasgow, Ayrshire, Argyllshire, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.
