Last two days in U.S.A.

Opened the curtains and I’m ready now.

Natural light until sunset, then to the fluorescents to reduce the redundancy and absorb from elements first.

I’ve inserted washer/dryer sheets into my boots thinking that they’ll soap up, and I’ll have foam spurting boots. I almost bought a new pair of Alpine Star Leather Waterproof boots. They were light, pliable, and conditioned, yet sturdy at the toes and heel, for a blend of multi-purpose utility (self-defense, crashes, and yeast infection and warmth loss reduction) and general bipedal comfort. Over the ankles but not past the calf.

“I look forward to sharing life with you again, my friend.” A genuine article.

Who among us believe in some censorship of the self? Distinguish between your ideal and actual selves.

(Pause) This is not your typical format of journaling, is it? Today’s entry combines yesterdays and todays, for convenience’ sake.

I noticed that there are oftentimes (a too-general-word to be worth anything at all… yet I use it… ) optional demographic surveys after you buy or receive services online. The online generation. We are being polled and researched abundantly. I also noticed that I do not always complete certain or all questions on the demographic questionnaire. The majority of the time I skip the survey altogether. I have left out my age or race and not answered my reasons for purchase. At times, I misreported, I seem to recall. What is the decision-making process like for this behavior in myself and others? Do others lie or fail to report their “confidential” demographic information? That is what we are researching here, right?

My brain is scarred by the words, “Be Safe.”

Drove by a churchish building in Louisiana printed with “Last Call Ministries.” The creator of that name for a religious organization was somehow influenced, (ie. motivated) by consumption, social side effects, or idolization of alcohol.

Weird: How cool to see a life-sized replica of Spiderman stuck to a building corner around 10 stories up, or swinging by web from two ‘scrapers?

Who really is liable, the “The People,” “The Corporations,” “The Government,” “The Religion”… they are all mislabels for there can be no “The”s to preface “People, Corporations, Government, Religion.” They aren’t like that. It’s assigning superficial power and identity, all of which is perceived but is illusory, if you consider social conditioning a inside the parameters of “Truth.”

I saw so many signs leaving Baton Rouge advertising their boiled crawfish that I deliberated a good minute going. Go I went. When else shall I have the opportunity? Landy’s server showed me how to peel them and how to suck the fat out of the head. Salty, including the yellow coagulant in the head area. She called it “fatty.” (Speaking the obvious…) Were those brains? Came with taters and corn, Cajun spiced like the crawfish, red little critters, all for $12. Yup. She says she loves them.

I asked, she answered, “They come from the pawns.” “Towards the ocean?” “No, in the ponds ‘round here. I guy delivers them to us. So if the oil spill shuts down the shrimp, we still have our freshwater crawfish.” This pleased me.

How are one’s thoughts affected by the stuff in their visually physical environment unconsciously. By “physical environment” I mean landscapes, weather, advertisements, humans, and everything visible. An experiment or two are needed here. Ask people what they thought about as they watched slideshows designed with certain genres of visual stimuli, informing them that they don’t have to think about the visual stimuli persay, but to at least accept it’s information through the eyeballs. Then ask them what they thought while they were in that room, alone? It’s research in the area of human-environmental psychology that is key to being able to manipulate the environment to our own greedy desires. In the name of pleasure, peace, or money.

How did 9 month gestation and hyper?-reproductivity benefit “Survival of the Fittest”’s needs of its criteria? Was the presence of food production from oneself, with the will to sacrifice a baby in times of starvation, a boon to our genetic advantage?

Such heavy rains and wind today in Brownsville. Too exhausted to think about that. But the good news is that a gent at 802 Motorsports inspected my bike and diagnosed by excessive oil consumption as a symptom of prolonged high speeds often found with this model of motorcycle, the Kawasaki KLR 650. The exhaust pipe bears no liquidy residue inside its rear canister. There’s no visible leaks sitting or running, and I’m running it hours on end at 5500 RPM through various conditions. Slowing down here in Mexico should help, and I will change the oil more frequently because I’m suspecting that the decomposition and burning of the oil accelerates exponentially the more decomposed it becomes. I’m thinking next 1000-1500 miles. I’m carrying next changes load on me. The same technician informed me of repeat, illegal stops by gangs and police demanding bribes. He says it’s a given the first 200 miles. Good thing I was planning on clearing that distance anyways. I’ll brief myself on the security reports tomorrow morning.

Time for a hot bath and Pizza Hut.
