Good Quality Ganoderma Contains
                                                                                                                            Up To 400 Nutrients

The quality of Ganoderma available on the market today differs and it depends where and by whom it is sold.
The price is a definite indicator of the quality.
Good quality ganoderma should contain all the nutrients listed in the picture.

Some manufactures grow their own Ganoderma under the strictest of conditions.
The mushroom is grown to the exact timing of growth, so to capture the most of it's nutrients. The humidity and temperature of the farming environment is kept to the strictest guidelines. The processing is very complex, using expensive equipment in huge sterile laboratories, with workers wearing sterile suits and masks. Some companies grown their ganoderma organically, without the use of chemicals, pesticides, hormones, additives or fillers. When you purchase Ganoderma look out for the description "Organic" and 100% Pure.
Organic Ganoderma is grown and processed without the use of any chemicals, hormones or preservatives. 100% Pure means that it is pure Ganoderma without any fillers and binders.

When you buy Ganoderma in a capsule form, it is easy to test it. Simply open up the capsule and taste it. It should be well grained to a fine powder, and it should have a fairly strong taste.

Some companies sell ganoderma at cheaper prices. The price is a definite indicator of the quality of the final product. If it is cheap, it indicates, that it is not the best quality and it does not contain the maximum amount of nutrients and it's maximum count. The cheap ganoderma is not grown in a strict, controlled environment. It's picked in the woods, at any stage of growth. When ganoderma is overgrown, it becomes very hard and leathery. This indicates low grade quality and small amount of nutrients. When capsules are open, the product is not finely grained, it's very lumpy. When trying to taste it, there are pieces which feel and taste like leather, and they can not be chewed. The taste in comparison to better quality product is, that it's at least half less stronger.

There is lots of advise on how to use Ganoderma. Some of them advise to boil the mushroom, if one has got the mushroom, for an ex amount of time. However, to boil Ganoderma or to mix it with hot water is not recommended.

We know now, that to overcook or over boil vegetables is not recommended, as by doing so we kill lots of the nutrients and goodness they should deliver. Anything cooked over 60
°C (degrees Celsius) = 140°F (degrees Fahrenheit), is destroying the nutrients and enzymes in the food.
Even temperature below that are detrimental to the quality of cooked vegetables. Further, the longer they are cooked the less nutrients they will retain.
Ganoderma is a food, a mushroom, so the same rule applies.

How to use Ganoderma:
For health purposes, as for prevention or maintenance, it is best to consume ganoderma in capsules. If consumed in coffee form, the temperature of the water added should be lukewarm or room temperature, hence to preserve all nutrients.
It is a good practice to consume ganoderma with Vit C. Vit C renders better absorption and effectiveness of ganoderma.
For general assistance and maintenance from 1 pair per day up to 4 pairs, with or without food, anytime of a day.

A pair taken at night is said to help with a better quality of sleep.
To assist with more severe health problems, it is recorded, that some take up to 8 pair per day. Ganoderma taken along with Vit C is more potent and effective.
Ganoderma is also said to make any medications more effective. Ganoderma therefore enhances the effectiveness of medication and it is never reacting negatively with any medication.

*How to use
Ganoderma lucidum / Reishi Polysaccharide

Reishi polysaccharides have high molecular weights of up to 1,050,000, which makes absorption by the intestines difficult. Dr. Fukumi Morishige, M.D. found that patients given large doses of Reishi (2-9g/day) had diarrhea, but when a large dose of vitamin C was combined, no diarrhea occurred. Vitamin C renders the high molecular weight polysaccharides to a molecular weight of 30,000 when they are much more readily absorbed by the intestines and bloodstream.
For general health maintenance and prevention:
take 1 Reishi Polysaccharide capsules twice per day on an empty stomach. Also take 1000 mg of Vitamin C per day after breakfast (can take up to 8,000mg per day, at 1,000mg per time).
When a serious illness occurs, increase the dosage to 4 capsules of Reishi Polysaccharide in the morning and 4 Reishi mycelium capsules at night on an empty stomach. Also take 2,000-3,000 mg of Vitamin C per day after meals.
(Some people may experience Vertigo Reaction when they first take Reishi. During the first week, they may experience slight swelling of the head or dizziness. Arthritis patient may experienced a temporary increase in the pain level. This is a cleansing reaction, often called a "healing crisis". Continue to take Reishi and the symptoms will be alleviated within a week)
