Submission Guidelines
 
1. Members submit writings by uploading them at the appropriate group subdivision page:  Mobile - Novels, Tensaw - Novellas, Spanish - Short Stories, Apalachee - Poetry, and Blakeley - Essays.
 
2. Prose should be submitted in a MS Word document using Times New Roman, pt 12 font with one-inch margins on all sides. It should be titled and double-spaced with pages numbered.  A title page should be included giving the author's name, e-mail address, word count, and page count.
 
3.  Poetry should be submitted in a MS Word document using Times New Roman, pt 12 font with one-inch margins on all sides. The work should be titled and submitted in a standard format for poetry. A title page should be included giving the author's name, e-mail address, word count,  and line count.
 
4.  Members are limited to two prose submissions not to exceed fifty pages per month.  Poets are limited to five poems per month not to exceed twenty-five pages.
 
5.  Submissions should be made no later than one week prior to the scheduled monthly meeting. Early submissions are encouraged.
 
6. Members are encouraged to thoroughly edit their work before submitting. If the work is unorganized and poorly written, critiquing members are limited in what they can offer as criticism. If the focus of the critiquing members is on the correction of grammar, attention cannot be given to developmental editing and evaluation. Writers are encouraged to take responsibility for their writing.
 
7. It is strongly suggested that members place a copyright notice on the title page of their submissions. The web site
