Mod Mobilian Press Calling All Writers

Mod Mobilian believes Mobile’s rich literary heritage is as much a thing of the present and future as the past and is doing its part to proclaim and preserve it. Our next Eugene Walter, William March or Albert Murray could be out there just waiting for a chance at exposure.

We’re pleased to announce plans for an anthology featuring our contemporary literary talent. We’re asking all interested Mobile area writers to submit poems, essays or short stories of less than 7,500 words for inclusion in an overview of the area’s writing talent.

All genres and experience levels are welcome. Current plans are to publish the anthology later this year.

Submissions can be emailed to mobilejazz@bellsouth.net. Word documents are the preferred format and please be sure to include contact information.

Pass the word and don’t hesitate to throw your mad language skills into the mix.
