Project Description

Words served as the inspiration for this collaborative project. Fiberforum members contributed 5 words in the following 7 categories: colors, art words, objects, verbs, adjectives, locations, and emotions. Each person then drew one word at random from each category. Those words inspired the beginning of a piece of art that was passed around to be worked on by all participants. Every piece had its own set of words that traveled with the artwork, to be interpreted and expanded upon by each individual artist. (Completed in 2012.)

The seven words that were used as inspiration of each work is listed as the title of the art. Final works reflect the collaborative efforts of 12 artists.
