Collaborative Project Description

Each Fiberforum members cut up a garment (e.g., blouse, dress, jacket, robe) into twelve sections, some with sleeves, collars or plackets still intact. We each had 12 garment pieces to work with as our basic palette. Using these fabrics, plus additional materials of our choosing, each artist began a new work of art which was then passed around so the other participants could add their contributions. Final works reflect the collaborative efforts of 12 artists. (Completed in 2014.)
