Chances of Urena (erect herb) looks totally zero. However, never had the luck to encounter A. latifolia with sinuate leaves, have always seen them lobed !!! Incase you still have any doubts, here are some of my photographs taken last week at my farm to show the different shapes of Wild Grape leaves. We have discussed it last year during monsoon days but I am not getting the link. Yeoor Hills after pre monsoon showers for wild flowers. : Mixed thread- 1 correct image. 5 posts by 5 authors. After the pre monsoon showers the Forest Spider Lily blooms in the hills of Yeoor, SGNP Thane. These flowers bloom first before the leafs. I was planning for many years to see this unique phenomenon and it happened this year. Along with these Lilies the Yellow Ground Star aka Kali Musali flowers too had come up at the base of the shoots. Submitting the pictures for correct ID too. Another climber seen at SGNP, Mumbai on 29/7/13 at the Silonda Trail, during TAW. Id please. It may be Ampelocissus latifolia. Not sure, though. Thanks for a possible id. I could locate one more picture with fruits. Hope it helps. We were shown all the flora with names, I'm getting a bit confused with the ids. Thanks for the fruit picture. I did not get the point in your words "...We were shown all the flora with names..." I agree with ... in calling it as 'wild grape'. Both Vitis and Ampelocissus are commonly called wild grapes and the differences lie in the flowers and seeds. In the absence of these features, I can only guess that it may be Ampelocissus latifolia from the appearance of leaves and fruits. Let's wait for more comments from members possibly with affirmative ID. Sorry if I have caused any confusion : My photographs of the fruit (6). Thanks ... for confirming the id and thanks for supportive and nice pictures as well. I meant I had gone to this National Park in Mumbai along with TAW Team (Tree Appreciation Walk), there we were shown all the flora along the Silonda Trail. But the leaves & fruits (which did not belong to those leaves) got me confused. On checking my data, I found it was already correctly identified earlier. I do have a picture of the flowers as well. Will add it. I could locate a picture of the flowers. Adding the same. Flora Picture of the Year 2013: Balkar Singh : 9 posts by 9 authors. Attachments (1). When a Macro shot was taken, the picture was very good looking. I am sharing the close up of inflorescence of this plant as My Picture of the year 2013. Lovely picture with great details! Yes, beautiful picture from a lovely place.... on way to Indrali Falls, we started to but never reached... Yes, really nice Macro shot. Very clear... By any chance these are wild grapes ? Ampelocissus latifolia) ? Location - Mumbai (near one of the mangroves) Date - 14.05.2017 Ampelocissus latifolia (Roxb.) Planch. [Vitaceae]. The photograph labelled "Copy of New Album 357.jpg" is of the flowers and the other three pictures are of the buds. This creeper was spread everywhere on the ground and a tree. Saw some new leaf growth near it. Are these the leaves of same creeper or some other plant ? Could not make out as lot of mix-up on the ground.... The mature as well as the young leaves of Ampelocissus latifolia are altogether different from those in your photograph. The leaves in your picture remind me of Ipomoea mauritiana Jacq.
